Sir is the CEO and there are many drawbacks to this battery-powered vehicle approach.
There has been a dramatic drop in the cost of lithium-ion battery packs that are needed to make pure-electric vehicles.
Tesla is now investing in battery packs from Panasonic, making it much cheaper to build cars than internal combustion engine care engines.
Temperature and cooling issues are a major problem for car owners.
These batteries are not durable, and they will not work if temperatures drop below freezing.
However, internal-combustion vehicles can be used for up to 10,000 hours.
There are only 34 hydrogen filling stations in America, and only three in California.
The greatest problems with these electric-powered batteries are the fuel-cell cost and the costs for producing, transporting and dispensing the hydrogen fuel.
Tesla’s focus is on designing and producing batteries, and they don’t care about the car as a whole.
Tesla is focusing heavily on the batteries and not the infrastructure.
Tesla’s investments into the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries are a slight distraction from the actual cars.
Tesla’s investments in electric-powered batteries can lead to some serious problems. However, one can say that they pay money and then take their pick.
