Select a recent article in physics or technology that you found in one of the science journals or newspapers mentioned below.

As a citizen, you will write a letter to a public figure or world leader. The letter will contain a summary of the article, issues that should concern the recipient, and recommendations for specific actions to be taken to address those issues.

The recipient of your letter must be a public figure or world leader.

The recipient must be real and have some influence on the issues covered in the article.

A politician could be chosen from any country, region, state or city that is affected.

Or you could choose to be an activist, an industry leader, or CEO of a company that is directly or indirectly affected by the issues.

It’s okay to be imaginative in your selection. You could, for instance, choose an actor or musician who is well-known for their advocacy of the issues.

Subject: Questions related to Tesla’s launch of electric cars in July 2017

Respected Sir

With respect, I would like you to be aware of the problems caused by the launch in July 2017 of a battery-powered vehicle for the masses (

General Motors has sold over 12,000 Chevrolet Bolts, with Japan and Nissan Leaf being the most popular battery-powered cars in the world.

Sir is the CEO and there are many drawbacks to this battery-powered vehicle approach.

There has been a dramatic drop in the cost of lithium-ion battery packs that are needed to make pure-electric vehicles.

Tesla is now investing in battery packs from Panasonic, making it much cheaper to build cars than internal combustion engine care engines.

Temperature and cooling issues are a major problem for car owners.

These batteries are not durable, and they will not work if temperatures drop below freezing.

However, internal-combustion vehicles can be used for up to 10,000 hours.

There are only 34 hydrogen filling stations in America, and only three in California.

The greatest problems with these electric-powered batteries are the fuel-cell cost and the costs for producing, transporting and dispensing the hydrogen fuel.

Tesla’s focus is on designing and producing batteries, and they don’t care about the car as a whole.

Tesla is focusing heavily on the batteries and not the infrastructure.

Tesla’s investments into the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries are a slight distraction from the actual cars.

Tesla’s investments in electric-powered batteries can lead to some serious problems. However, one can say that they pay money and then take their pick.

We appreciate your understanding.
